JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE (ZJ) STORY


Jeep  Grand Cherokee (ZJ) celebrates its appearance by crashing through the window of the congress center of American International Auto Show in Detroit during its introduction in Jan. 7, 1992. The Grand Cherokee Wagoneer replaced as a midsize luxury SUV - a design class many manufacturers rush to imitate.

The first SUV equipped with side airbag driver, new standards for the handling, maneuverability and comfort in  SUV. The Grand Cherokee was immediately popular and has won dozens of awards, including Motor Trend Truck of the Year, four-wheel review of the year and 4Wheel &  Off-Road magazine (2003).

New for '93, the 105, 9-inch wheelbase Grand Cherokee took the Cherokee levels of refinement to a new level. A new suspension Quadra-Coil feature coil / multilink configuration, a 5.2L V8 engine is optional, and a Dana 44 rear axle was available for some models.

ZJS originated in three trim options: Laredo, Base and Limited. Specialty models for Orvis (1995-1997), with a limited color scheme of hunter green with gold stripes measure. Its interior sported two-tone green, champagne  seats complimented with red accents and Orvis badging.


HISTORY of GRAND WAGONEER

The Jeep  Grand Wagoneer ZJ was a rare version of the Grand Cherokee, which was only offered in 1993. It was a top-of-the-line package that offers all the ZJ options, including V8, and a look that harkened back to the recently deceased Grand Wagoneer SJ. It has been proposed as a completely separate model, the wood grain side which distinguishes.


GRAND CHEROKEE ( refreshed ZJ) STORY


The Grand Cherokee has replaced the Grand Wagoneer as a midsize luxury SUV - a design class many manufacturers rush to imitate.

Updated with more than 40 major progress, the 1996 Jeep  Grand Cherokee wins Again "4x4 of the Year" and "Four Wheeler of the Year".

In 1998, the legend continues with the introduction of the fastest and most powerful vehicle Jeep  ever: the 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L Limited.


GRAND CHEROKEE (WJ) STORY


In 1999, the All-New Grand Cherokee (WJ ) debuted as "the most capable SUV of all time" and has won major 4x4 competitions.

The revised GRAND CHEROKEE  WJ was totally redesign and has performed better ride and handling as well as the addition of powerful V8 and 4.7L and Quadra-Drive  4X4 system. Although focused on the many strengths design than the previous model, there were only 127 pieces carry over parts.

The revised WJ : 5.7L HEMI  V8 engine and upscale facilities to make all of luxury car buyers envious.
