2011 Jeep Patriot

Review

Jeep gives the best with the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. Their boast interiors so nice as to be new to those who are comfortable with the trucks from a years ago. Then there are some Jeep Patriot, which has visual settings outside and inside, as good as some equipment upgrades in 2011. The exterior changes are small,

Highlighted by new rear fascias and front. There are 17”  wheels and 4 additional colors in all  2001 Jeep Patriot's choise. The interior looks like the updated Wrangler with three modern branches flying wheel jeep can host controls for audio, cruise (now standard on all versions), and Bluetooth. Soft-touch materials and padded surfaces adorn the door panels, and there is a new design center armrest and revised upholstery fabric. The top-spec Limited model was replaced by Latitude X.

Performace Results :
In a testing, a Patriot with the 2.4-liter and a CVT went from 0  to 60 mph in 10.3,  too slow time for this type of vehicle. Patriots with the smaller 2.0-liter will be even slower.

Safety :
The 2011 Jeep Patriot test results of a frontal collision Patriot had perfect five stars passenger protection in frontal  and had four out of five stars driver protection.
impacts and five stars for front and rear passengers in side impacts with side airbags in the front seats as an option.
Patriot had top rating in the frontal offset crash test. The Jeep Patriot was deemed good in side impact tests when equipped with optional side airbags, but these bags, it was estimated second-to-worst.

Driving:
Even when its  fitted with a 172-horsepower with 2.4-liter engine, the Patriot looks like sluggish under bad acceleration. The CVT does not  help, because it is slow to respond to throttle and tends to allow the engine to rev to redline loudly when he finally understands that you want full power. Equipped with the all-terrain available, which allows a 9.0" ground clearance, new skid plates and a transfer case with low range, the Patriot is definitely better in the dirt conditions than other compact off-roads.

Pros :
  • Low price Jeep-lite style, off-road ability better than average that compared to most crossovers, variable smart features.
Less :
  • Its has Slow acceleration, poor braking distances, bad fuel economy base engine, power sapping continuously variable transmission, small cargo capacity, low internal budget.
