 2010 Jeep Commander

The 2010 Commander has good off-road capable, but the Commander lacks the improvement of other competitors. Unless if you really want a vehicle with minivan seating capacity, another SUV will make you feel much better.

Jeep 2010 Commander

The 2010 Jeep Commander is rated:
No. 23 in the main used vehicles under $ 35K
No. 9 in 2010 wholesale affordable SUV

When it was new, test drivers were not too impressed with the 2010 Jeep  Commander , But, while they enjoyed the off-road ability, they haven't  been hit hard with his conduct once you out the track and came back on the road. Fuel economy and reliability of the commander are in the middle of the class, so it can not be the expensive SUV to maintain  use. it is probably not the cheapest either.

The Commander not only comes  with a rear-wheel drive, but  also available in   4-wheel drive. Buyers can choose a 3.7-liter V6 or 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. Opinion of the examiner on the V6 was not give you the best, but the V8 engine adds so much power without a significant decrease in fuel consumption. The V6 rear-wheel gets 15/20 mpg city / highway, while the V8 will decrease fuel consumption of 14/20 mpg. Options for all-wheel drive and you'll see slightly lower average fuel economy. The commander can accommodate up to 7 when work with the third row. And cargo also can hold 68.5 cubic feet, which is much less than other competitors. Maximum capacity is 7.400 pounds.

Test drivers  do not think the seats were better and comfortable, and they are not impressed with the interior quality of the 2010 Jeep Commander. However, they found many standard features and optional. Standard equipment, such as  power locks, electric  windows and mirrors, also  wheel-mounted audio controls. 2010 Jeep Commander fully loaded could include features such as a sunroof with mounted skylights  at the rear, a power liftgate, a premium audio with satellite radio, leather seats, navigation system and Bluetooth.

2007 Jeep Commander

Reviewers say the 2007 Jeep Commander is a niche vehicle for people who like to go off road and have 7 seats. Then, if you want a full size, rugged SUV that can tackle off-road, but is also adorned with best features, you need seating for 2007 Jeep Commander should be attractive for families in need. 4-wheel drive capability for camping, vacations, or challenging winters conditions.

Introduced in 2006, "joins more than a dozen SUVs in recent years have added third-row seats. The change is due in large part, by families who want more seat, but do not necessarily to buy a van to get it. While we agree that it's better to have a booster seat, if your goal is simply to 7 seats, it's better for you to buy a van.

2007 Jeep Commander

Competition in a head-to-head with the Ford Explorer, the 2007 Jeep Commander is topped. The examiner concluded overall commander feel more connected to the land and was slightly more rewarding to drive than the Explorer.

The manufacturer departure commander suggested retail price is close to the starting price for a Jeep Grand Cherokee average size. This makes the commander seem a good deal, except that prices can rise to levels of luxury cars quickly. With a HEMI V8, car seats and leather with four wheels, the commander nearly $ 40,000. With soaring gas prices, energy efficiency is an important decision factor when buying an SUV. The Washington Postreports "I do not mean just the purchase price.'s Equivalent of driving around the Washington metropolitan area one week gave a tab of $ 50 for regular unleaded gasoline. Gave the 2007 Jeep Commander an estimate of the value of "poor" for its predicted five-year total cost of ownership compared to other vehicles in its class.

Score :
  • Overall:7.3
  • Rating Review: 7.1
  • Performance: 7.8
  • Interior: 6.9
  • Security: N / A

Advantage and Disadvantage:
  • Excellent all-terrain capabilities
  • High safety scores in some frontal crash tests
  • Fuel consumption less than the average for the high-class SUV
  • Third row option to close
  • Powerful V8 engines, inner calm, capable in off-road situations, luxury has in abundance.
  • Third row of seats is a children's area alone, poor fuel economy of the V8 engine, load capacity, poor reliability uneven.

2008 Jeep Commander SUV

2008 Jeep Commander SUV

Introduction :
The Jeep Commander 2008 SUV, largely an extension of the 2007 model year, is available in three versions, Sport, Limited and Overland, and is available as a vehicle rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Great people mover Jeep is back for its third year of production. This is the only seven-seat SUV in the Jeep lineup, and it bears the burden of providing rugged off-road capability with premium features and comfort for the whole family.

2008 Jeep Commander SUV

What's New for 2008 :
Engine and include improvements are in store for the 2008 Jeep Commander SUV With the 4.7-liter V8 engine is considerably better powerful this year but is slightly more fuel efficient. The off-road technology and versatility are enhanced with Hill Descent Control and Hill Assist electronic aids to driving under the Quadra-Drive II four-wheel drive to start. Inside, the commander can accommodate five passengers available for the first time. To entertain the troops, the commander of this year can now be done with the MyGIG infotainment system and hard drive "" and Sirius Backseat TV.

Review :
Although its blocky exterior styling is clearly influenced by the beautifull Cherokee 1980s and 1990s, the commander is related to the Grand Cherokee. Same wheelbase rides, with a little longer and in particular greater. The height gain, in particular, allows the addition of rear seats and bleachers seat folding third row flat 50-50.
For 2008, the Jeep Commander receives some significant changes. Under the hood you will find a revised 4.7-liter V8 engine in version option. It is now 305 horsepower, a huge increase of 70 hp 4.7-liter V8 from last year. Jeep has even said that the new engine is slightly more fuel efficient (although the fuel consumption is still pretty grim). The base V6 and top-shelf 5.7-liter V8 remains, but we believe that the vast majority of consumers will be pleased with 4.7-liter V8 engine.

2008 Jeep Commander SUV

Inside the quiet and simple design has new technology updates. Increasingly common MyGIG entertainment system Chrysler navigation system hard drive can also store and play digital music files, replaced the old system DVD navigation. There is Sirius Backseat TV, which 3 channels of kid-friendly entertainment & education for rear seat. But it's too bad, there is no NFL Network for dad, asem banget mbokan??

While these changes are welcome, the 2008 Jeep Commander is still suffering from problems he had from the start. More importantly, the loading capacity is meager for this vehicle segment and the third row of seats - the only reason for the commander in the first place - is cramped and suitable for small children only. Meanwhile, the large and robust suspension height does not make the car any favors in terms of behavior on the road. Although still a good choice for a customer wanting true off-road capability plus the ability to seven passengers, we believe that most consumers will be better off with more well-rounded midsize SUV choices like the Ford Explorer and Toyota 4Runner. And if the capacity of seven passengers is a priority, crossovers like GMC Acadia and Mazda CX-9 are also excellent choices.

2008 Jeep Commander SUV

Advantages and disadvantages :
  • With a new V8 engines, its feel more comfortable and quiet interior in any off-road situations, many luxury features and better entertainment.
  • The commander must be attractive to families who need a four-wheel drive capability for camping, vacations,or other challenging winters.
  • It's rugged SUV that can tackle off-road terrain, but is also adorned with high-end features, you need seating for seven years.
  • If your goal is simply to seven seats, buy a van.
  • We're having a hard time figuring out who he is meant to appeal to - and whether they will actually find appealing. If it is a robust, well-equipped SUV, the commander seems to be a strange mix. Is it a vehicle for toting the family around (a militarized minivan), or is it a machine of rugged mountains for a gaggle of guys? In response to both, we think it can not call enough for both groups.

Review

2009 Jeep Commander SUV

What's New for 2009 Jeep Commander SUV :
With an optional 5.7-liter V8 in the Jeep Commander is both more powerful and more fuel efficient for 2009. Interior materials have improved on Limited and Overland models balances and an iPod interface is now included with the optional navigation system.
Introduction

An off-road vehicle luxury family - now there's an interesting concept. Now in its fourth year of production, the 2009 Jeep Commander SUV  was created to provide a seven-seater MPV, the comfort of a luxury SUV and engaging style as blocks long left Cherokee. The commander meets most of these individual goals, but we're not sure they unite in a way that best meets the needs of consumers.

2009 Jeep Commander SUV

For 2009, top-shelf 5.7-liter V8 commander gets an increase in power and torque. This is made possible by a system of variable valve timing revised, which also improves fuel economy. The strong and smooth Hemi cans now on 52 horsepower more than the provision of 4.7-liter V8, and it actually drink less 87 octane than its little brother. This obviously makes the Hemi engine choice if your heart is set on buying a commander.

However, we believe that most consumers would be better served by looking elsewhere. The passenger of the commander and cargo space pale in comparison to the full-size crossovers like the Ford, Acadia and CX-9 Mazda , its fuel economy and driving dynamics also drag these leaders class. The loaded Limited and offer plenty of creature comforts, but there are brand luxury vehicles that offer more upscale image and ambience of similar money Overland models. Few can deny the off-road prowess of the commander in this segment, but we do not know many families that go bright trail in their big SUVs. The 2009 Jeep Commander SUV does what it is designed to do, but for the most part, the competition is better.

Other cars to consider :
If you are looking for affordable large SUV used, you must to check out the 2009 GMC Yukon. Its interior is better, fit and finish is much better. The reviewers also greatly preferred handling on the road to the Yukon and Yukon commander can pull heavier loads and carry more freight.
Another model to consider is the 2009 Ford Expedition. Shipping is one of the most spacious cars in the class, and also one of the most capable in terms of towing and cargo. Walking on the road shipping is more comfortable than the commander, and carries on the jeep with a pleasant interior.

Scores of cars :
  • Overall: 6.8
  • Rating Review: 6.4
  • Performance: 7.4
  • Interior: 6.7
  • Cost of operation: 7.1
  • Security: N / A

Advantages and disadvantages :
  • Excellent off-road capability
  • Towing & cargo is less than other competitors in the same class.
  • Third row of seats uncomfortable
  • Powerful V8 engine, comfortable and quiet interior capable off-road, with a lot of features.
  • Small third-row seat, fuel economy dull, poor base V6, cargo space mediocre, irritating touchscreen navigation and audio controls.
