In 1974, Jeep trucks changed its name to J-10 models (119 inches) or J-20 (131 inches). Improvements included front disc brakes, a new front axle, six-stud wheels and heavier frame cross members. 

J-20 was the largest van GVW (gross vehicle weight) of the line, with capacities of more than half a ton to a ton and even dual rear wheel configuration. 

In the years of J-Series trucks were also produced J-30 Series.

JEEP CJ-5 UNIVERSAL 


From 1973, all Jeep CJ engines were equipped with V-8 AMC 304 or 360 cubic inches. In general, Renegade models had a 304 V8 engine cubic inches (5L), stronger drivetrain, alloy wheels and rear axle differential lock Trac-Lok. 

They offered many special editions as Tuxedo Park "luxury" 1964-1967, Camper 1969, "462" 1969, Renegade I 1970 Renegade II 1971, Golden Eagle Super Jeep 1972-1983 and 1973 and 1976. Version was offered DJ-5 with two-wheel drive until 1974. CJ-5 a popular and enduring legend has probably logged more miles traveled on roads than any other Jeep vehicle. CJ-5, which covers thirty, had the longest production Jeep vehicles. 

The CJ-5 Camper was marketed as a new concept vehicle for camping. He had a unique system of separation, first in the industry, allowing camper cover removal easy. 


1972-1983 JEEP CJ-5 Renegade

In general, Renegade models had a 304 V8 engine cubic inches (5L), stronger drivetrain, alloy wheels and rear axle differential lock Trac-Lok. 

It produced special models Jeep Renegade II 600 with 200 painted in Lower Yellow, Mint Green, Orange and Riverside in 1971. Furthermore, 150 had a Big Bad Orange finish at the start of editing (not shown). 

In 1976 AMC reintroduced the "Super Jeep" (also in 1973). The CJ-5 had only special stripes on the hood and seats, chrome front fenders, roll bar, 258 OHV inline 6, black rubber extensions on the fender, and Polyglas oversized tires with white walls. 


MODEL 1975-1983 JEEP CHEROKEE (SJ)

The new Cherokee was a sporty two-door Wagoneer and had individual seats, sports steering wheel and bold details designed to attract younger drivers and adventurers. 
In February 1974, the Jeep Cherokee was the 1st car to get the prize Achievement Award from Four Wheeler magazine is now known as the prize Four Wheeler of the Year. 
In 1975, the Cherokee were offered two body models: the wide track Cherokee with axes three inches wider and fender extensions, and Cherokee with axes normal size without extensions. In 1977 was a version of the four-door Cherokee. 
Based Cherokee addition, packages of options for this vehicle nine years included S Cherokee, Cherokee Chief, Laredo and Golden Eagle
