2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee

2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep Grand Cherokee Review

The 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee is an excellent off-road vehicle with a luxurious interior, which is a rare combination in the field of midsize SUV. Nonetheless, it still can not match the comfort of the rear seat or cargo capacity of others in its class, so if you want a particularly good cross-hauling family, you may want to look elsewhere.

2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a reputation for legendary Jeep off-road performance, but has a much more refined inside than most other vehicles off the road. However, there is no third line and its fuel economy and reliability ratings are below the class average. Two engines are available in the Grand Cherokee. The base V6 gets pretty good fuel economy for an all-terrain vehicle, but test drivers said the base V6 was low and recommended V8 instead.
The Grand Cherokee comes standard with a 3.7-liter V6 and rear-wheel drive, but a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and three systems in four different engine wheels is optional. SRT8 comes with a standard 6.1-liter Hemi V8 and 4-wheel drive. basic versions come standard with a power driver seat, a stereo with six speakers, satellite radio and electronic stability control. Limited trim add standard navigation system, steering wheel,  leather-wrapped shift knob, rear parking sensors, rearview camera, and an better audio system.

Other cars to consider :
If you like the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but need three rows of seats, you can consider the 2011 Dodge Durango. The Durango was arrested for the 2009 model year, but roared back on the market in 2011 with aggressive looks, a very upscale interior, great handling and greatly improved fuel economy. The third row is cramped, so it is not the best if you need to carry adults around comfort, but test pilots evaluated the 2011 Dodge Durango is within its class.
The 2010 Chevrolet Traverse ranks both for its comfortable ride adult-sized third row. It is a high capacity in its class load, and good fuel economy. The Traverse offers better security and reliability ratings than the Grand Cherokee, but it can't offer nearly the performance off-road Jeep is known for. But, if you need to tote up to eight in better feeling,  test drivers  said that the Chevrolet Traverse is better choice.
